Vault Setup Guide

One shared game library, set up right.

The full technical walkthrough: pairing the Vault Server, installing the Node app on every PC, designating an Update PC, and (the step most guides skip) actually publishing what it installs.

Chapter 2 · Owner panel

Subscribe and enable Vault

Vault isn't a separate add-on to buy anymore; it's included on specific plans. On your Owner panel's Subscriptions page:

  1. If you're not already on a Vault-inclusive plan, switch to one there. If you already are, skip to the next step.
  2. Head to Vault Settings and click Enable Vault. This just turns Vault on for your center: no code, nothing to write down.
  3. A Download Vault Installer button now appears in the top-right of this same page. That's the file the rest of this guide has you install on every café PC.

Note

That's the whole Owner-panel part. Picking which PC becomes your Server, and pairing it, both happen from the Center panel instead, with no pairing code to copy between screens. Chapter 3 picks up from there.
